Dr. Blagsvedt - Natural Health Practitoner
I am a Doctor of Traditional Naturopathy at Belleville Chiropractic Wellness Center.
I have lived in Belleville with my husband of 10 years and young daughter. I enjoy the small-town feeling and close nature atmosphere of our community. I was born and raised in metro Detroit. I served in the military for over nine years in both active and reserves.
In 1991, I completed my Bachelors of Applied Science degree from Troy State University in Alabama.
Due to injuries incurred, my body began to have many issues. These issues brought me back to alternative healing and natural health for relief. This expierence and previous history with natural health as a child served as a bridge to my continued studies. I obtained my Masters in Natural Health in 2004 and Doctorate in Naturopathy in 2005 from Clayton College of Natural Health. I am continuing my studies working on a Ph.D. in Natural Health.
I teach continuing education coruses, lecture and have been in independent practice.
Dr. Blagsvedt - Credentials
Dr. Blagsvedt is a Natural Health practitioner, Traditional Naturopath trained in both Eastern and Western healing arts and nutrition, traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki art of healing and Natural Health and Naturopathic Counseling.
She is Board Certified by the American Alternative Medical Association (AAMA), member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP), American Holistic Health Association (AHHA), National Center for Homeopathy (NCH) and Coalition of Natural Health.
She routinely lectures on various health topics at Whole Foods Markets and is a continuing education teacher at WCCD teaching Holistic Nutrition. Having overcome her own personal health crises with personal education and experience, Dr. Blagsvedt's goal is to empower and guide you in integrating and balancing all the pieces of your life, and achieving your highest state of physical emotional and spiritual health and potential.
Dr. Blagsvedt obtained her Naturopathic Doctorate (N.D.) with high honors and Masters of Science in Natural Health with highest honors from the Clayton College of Natural Health with an emphasis on holistic nutrition. She received her Bachelor of Applied Science degree from Troy State University and certified third degree Reiki Master from Penny Weaver, PYS, MA, LLP. Dr. Blagsvedt continues her education working on her Ph.D. in Natural Health currently in the early research phase.
